Welcome to Prison Fellowship England and Wales!

Volunteers are at the heart of our charity and our mission of ‘seeing lives transformed’. Together we seek to restore all those affected by crime through prayer, practical action and values based programmes.

Prison Fellowship England and Wales help local Christian communities respond to the needs of prisoners, young offenders, their families and communities through local groups, training and programmes in prisons.

Registered as a charity in 1980, Prison Fellowship England and Wales now has over 1,400 volunteers in England and Wales and is represented in almost all of the prisons in the country.

We rely on voluntary giving to sustain our work. Click here to find out more about supporting us financially
